What to expect

Here at Cross Point, we are not perfect people, but we strive daily to be more like our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Our goal is to love God with our entire being and to love those around us through sharing life together.  We believe a relationship with the One True God can change lives because we’ve seen it’s power at work in our own lives.  Come and see for yourself!

We host an adult service and a children's service, simultaneously, from 10:30am-11:30am.  The dress code is definitely casual, but we certainly won't stop you from over dressing!  In our adult service, we sing contemporary music with a full praise band, but also include hymns in our song rotation.

At Cross Point we have a great children’s ministry.  Our children’s program, Cross Point Kids, covers the ages birth through 5th grade.  Cross Point Kids presents the Bible in age specific small groups.  The kids facility has secure check-in and all the teachers and volunteers have background checks on file with the church office.  After 5th grade our kids transition into our Student Ministry program.  This ministry is designed to give our 6th-12th grade students a place to spend time together, learn from scripture, grow in their faith and just have fun.

We participate in communion weekly as a time to reflect on the sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross.  The symbolic representation of his broken body in the bread and his shed blood in the juice reminds us of the suffering and agony He endured for our sakes, so that we might be forgiven of our sins and have full access to God.  We invite any believer to join us in this act of remembrance.

At Cross Point we collect an offering each week.  This is a time where members of Cross Point tithe in appreciation for how God has richly blessed their lives.  If you are a guest understand that you are not expected to give, but please feel free to give as you feel lead.
